Truck fuel problem

Question type: General

Replaced fuel pump cut cats put straight
pipe plugs wires distributior cap roter now it
cranks but idle is reving up and down up and
down please help

Dont think it,s regulator,being cats are off it may be causing the ecm to not know the fuel air mixture and has to purge fuel/meaning dump at idle,try unhooking the throttle position sensor and running it.
