i have a 1997 gmc sierra truck runs good for 3-4 days then dies.. fuel pump is not coming on ive changed fuel pump relay. wait 30 mins later then it cranks. then a week or so later it does it again..i cant figure out whats wrong with it.. any help would be greatly appreciated..

TS, is right ,but if not relay ,may be the pump,they act like this when bad, run good for a while the go out,then work again,

Mine did the exact same thing. It was the pump. It was not a GM pump and i've heard from a few sources you have to use a GM pump as the other ones all fail.

Thanks Everyone but we still haven't figured it out yet. I have checked the fuel pump and its not that,so i have checked so many things including the module iginition but for some reason when my truck dies after driving it around for about 30 mins the fuel pump is not on at all so im lost. Any help would be wonderful. it ill is dying on me so i no its something in the front end but not sure where and why.. HELP

The only other thing you may need to check is the ECM,when they go bad they run good,then not.

All so check the wires under the relay that hooks into fuse box,may be loose,
