Can anyone help answer my question about my 94 gmc sierra transmission problem possibly associated with installation of cd player

I cannot imagine any possible connection between the two. Must be a coincidence.

Unhook the stereo,and check and see if it issue,but very unlikely as Full-o R said,,

It's not rap music......is it? Transmissions hate rap music. But seriously .... where did the power supply come from? If you tapped into the fuse panel to a fuse that also carries the power for the trans or the RWAL (if it has it). I don't think this vintage had 4WAL. Just a thought, otherwise I'll be stumped too....put me on the list.
