will a 400 turbo fit on a 1994 7.4 4x4?

put in a 1994 7.4  in a 1987 w/4.3 & 700r4 trans & wrecked the transmission.
tbi & computer were replaced with carburator & hei. can i use a th400 so i can
forget about the overdrive tranny?
