Knocking in oil pan

I start my truck. Oil pressure is showing good no
knocking. As i drive it to work and truck is at
regular heat now. I make frequent stops amd when
i brake at a light it starts making a knocking noise
in the oil pan and oil pressure goes down. I hit the
gas and take off pressure goes back up. Truck
does not overheat. But it only makes the noise
when i put it in drive or neutral. Could it be a bad
rod bearing or bad oil pump or both. How do i
know it is a bad main rod bearing

I also went to a heavier oil and put lucas oil stabalizer as well. And i still here the knock

Cool. I dont have any money for a mechanic. But i will change the oil pump. And a few friends have told me to check the rod bearings. Wich i hope it is not that. The knock is sometimes in idle. But very low. Thanks again

I changed the oil pump. The rod bearings looked and felt fine. I am still losing pressure when the truck warms up and when i come up to a light and or stop sign. The knocking continues. Any comments will helps thanks
