Try checking the VIN on one of the VIN Decoder sites. I found this info on this site: http://www.autorepairmanuals.biz/page/371346 PICKUP/RAM 1500-3500 1995-2002 4 SP RWD/4X4 V8 52L/59L Transmission type: 46RH/RE Code: A518
