1990 D150

My D150 acts like it has a dead battery had it
tested it's good starter was bad replaced that and
positive an negative cable now I still get nothing
doesn't even try to turn over just clicks replaced the
starter relay also please help I love this truck

K I have to crawl under it today an check that the surface for the starter is clean cause it grounds to the chassis or the plate that it bolts into. All the wires an terminals got replaced they were pretty corroded. But if it still doesn't turn over or even get the starter to click then what.

Hey thanks for all the info I got her running it was the broken piece of starter that was not letting the new one engage the flywheel purrs like a kitten now
