I see lot's of info on exterior mounted with two screws. Mine is an interior

I do not see where there is a interior mounted third brake light. All I see all the way back to 1999 is the high mount third brake light that has just the two screws like you say. Can you post a picture? Some close-ups? Or just go to a service center and have them replace it. They may just do it for you.
