Lost Power while driving

HELP! My car died while driving on a major highway home in a blizzard.  I
thought my foot lost contact with the gas pedal. I got to the shoulder and my
OIL LIGHT came on. There was no other indication of impending failure! After
being towed we put 2 quarts of oil with no success. It turns over but won't start.
I've owned the car for 14 years and never had a problem. Looking for input.

2015 Grand Caravan with 65000 miles on it and would shut off intermittently. Very scary on the highway and car shuts off, loosing steering and braking power. Dodge knew this was going on and did nothing to correct. Turns out Dodge knew there was a defect in the TIPM and the WIN module. TIPM cost about 1200.00 to replace and the WIN cost about 800-1000.00 to replace. Extended warrentee worth getting if purchasing a Dodge. Got car fix thru MOPAR after long battle.
