Dodge caravan blinker malfunction

Asked by carol Nov 06, 2022 at 04:49 PM about the 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1998 Dodge caravan.  The drivers side rear turn signal and hazard do
not work.  I know the bulb is good because the tailights work.  I replaced the
bulb anyway and it made no difference.  The signal indicator on the instrument
panel blinks fast and so does the front blinker.  I can't seem to find information
that explains why just one light would malfunction.just one side.

Sockets them selves are toast the ground goes away inside the socket and is not repairable replacement is the only option

You are awesome!!! Headed to the salvage yard today to get a socket. I spent alot of time yesterday trying to figure out the solution. I didn't think about trying the right side socket. Thank you so much!!
