2005 PT Cruiser Turbo with white/grey smoke

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A few months back and I was in a car wreck, my insurance didn't pay that much even
though it was fully covered and time was of the essence to find a new car before
summer.
So I recently purchased a 2005 PT cruiser turbo with 120,000 The day before I was
going to pick it up, the turbo went bad and the dealer I was going through sent it to get
replaced (luckily with no charge to me) A few days later it's finished and he also put in
new spark plugs and gave it a tuneup
Now right before I left with my car he said that the mechanics said that there still might
be smoke that comes out a little but it should go away after a few days.
I understand that I am definitely no expert on cars but I have absolutely have no idea
why it would still do that.
It's only been about a day and a half but white/grey smoke would come out of the
exhaust when starting up the car for about 10 seconds and then it would if I had
accelerated hard. When it's idling, the first couple of minutes, something under the
hood smokes, not as much as the exhaust though. It smells kinda like a combination
of burning rubber and burning oil.
Any ideas on what it could be?

The seals in the turbo failed filling the catalyst and exaust w oil and coolant and it usually takes 2-5 days to get all of it burned out
