With out knowing the codes it will be hard to say what the issue is ...unless the codes are misfire codes then the easiest thing to do is to perform a tune up with plug wires...

auto zone or checker can reset your light or you can buy discounting your neg. battery cable but it will also reset your computer and your car will have to relearn different things like the transmission shifting pattern. so for the first 500 to 1000 miles your car will seam different to you..

sorry I just remember something if your light is still on you can check your code by turning your key on all the way but not to start 3 times on the third time on leave it on and your speedometer will displace a code for the lower oxygen sensor the number should read P0441 FOR THE UPPER ONE IT WILL READ A DIFFERES NUMBER I DON'T REMEMBER IT YOU CAN CHECK THE ALL THE CODE NUMBERS AT PTCRUHIER.COM

I just replaced my 02 sensors. What do u do to replace the codes without a code eraser scanner?

To remove all history from your ECM (completely removing all codes) without a scan tool simply remove both negative and positive battery connections.....place them together for at least 1 to 2 minutes thus draining all residual stored amperage from your ECM. Often this would not be required if you have correctly fixed the problem prompting the code. Simply drive the automobile for a while.......the ECM should correct itself and it would still retain a historical record all previous codes.
