camshaft position sensor

Why would the camshaft position sensor code continuously show up after
replacing the sensor?

The code tells you where the problem is not what to replace . Usually that works but if it doesn't then it still has to be figured out why it's doing it .

Some people shouldn't be working on modern cars. Get a good repair manual or have a mechanic pinpoint the problem. You can then follow directions and fix it yourself.

On a 20 year old PT cruiser, it could be anything. You need a technician to diagnose it.
