2003 PT cruiser. REAR WIPER WONT WORK.

Asked by MishaHughes Mar 20, 2021 at 10:44 PM about the 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser Wagon FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, I purchased a 2003 PT cruiser. I was going
through the cycles of the car but the rear wiper will
not work when I use the wiper blades. What would
be needed to fix that? I couldn’t find any
information on a wiper motor.

note the diagram. See the two top wires, brown wire with pink tracer, that's voltage, goes hot with key on, use a test light to check for voltage. Voltage comes from the same fuse as the front wipers, if front wipers work, it's not the fuse. That bottom black wire from wiper motor, is ground. You need both voltage and ground. Hope this helps, a little. good luck
