Vent blower

When I have the air vent blowing to the driver in the front, it changes by itself to
the floor the nthe defrost and then back to the front. Why does it it do that.

Would initially say bad blend door motor but could be the climate control head itself has gone wonky. Only way to know for sure is with a factory scan tool or if you have a laptop download Forscan and have a look at specific error codes. I don't think that model has a self diagnostic mode like some cars for the climate control module.
