To add AWD to your Taurus, you would need all the driveline components, sensors, wiring, ECM and programming. It's better to just purchase another 500 with AWD and sell yours instead of going through custom work and the hassle and spending money. Sorry, a 2006 500 is worth $2000 at best and not worth upgrading. It was not one of Fords best vehicles in recent years. The 500 and Mustang share the same lug pattern for the wheels, the center bore and offset spacing are different. Test fit one before purchasing. I'd save your money for another AWD vehicle in the future.
