Car won't receive gas

I brought this car and it was fine all of 24 hrs
the car was stopping and refused to start I
replaced the starter fuel pump a fuse. I said
something about the fuel pump sensor line
it turns of when u give it gas the mechanic
sprayed oil directly in the line to start what is
wrong.

These cars have a fuel reset on the front passenger side. Mine was disconnect do to road bumps. Once I reset it the car starts fine.
