ford explorer radio not working

radio display was fading in and out. Now the stereo will not power up at all.

The shop time to remove the radio from the vehicle, send it to a shop, the bench time to replace parts, then installing it again is not worth the price. Check around on the internet. You'll find a radio that looks just like the one in the car at a fraction of the price to get your's repaired.
