Does the ford explorer xls 2006 have brake sensors attached to each wheel? Or better still where are the brake sensors located?

The Ford Explorer has an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with sensors on each wheel that continuously monitor that wheel's speed. The ABS wheel sensor transmits this information to the ABS controller, which determines the amount of braking force to apply to that wheel during an emergency stop

Why do you ask? Are you having a problem? Sometimes the sensors get all grimmed up from road dirt and brake pad dust. Just wipe them clean if you are having a problem. It oftentimes solves a lot of dashboard idiot light frustration.
