Question type: Maintenance & Repair

overheats when not moving, no air flow.
only had one gallon of coolant when I
changed the parts and I had to drive to get
more, could that be a problem driving it half
full after changing the thermostat and
housing?

You may have a bad radiator cap. Try replacing with a new one. Are your cooling fans kicking on when the engine gets up to temperature? If they are not working, that will do it also.
