2002 ford explorer rattles in the front when foot taken off the gas
sounds like a "thumping" kinda like going over rumble strips doesnt seem to happen until after 40-50 mph
probably the U-joint needle bearings are getting lightly toasted, by now~
there's something called resonant vibration that makes a synchronous tonality over the components actually very destructive...get it mended u- joints are comparatively inexpensive
unlikely, but could be a cracked flex-plate as well...does your starter sound like it's in a cereal bowl?
