I have a 2002 ford explorer xlt with the 4.0 im getting fuel and spark but wont start. i had some codes which is p0300,p0301,p0302 , p303 p0137 p1131 what could be the problem.

Though the Oxygen (O2) sensor, the Engine Control Module (ECM) has detected a lean system, which means that there is either not enough fuel or and excessive amount of air in the system. Start by checking for vacuum leaks.

thanks , but i can`t understand why it act like it want to start but it just won`t catch and go . I fixed the codes it read but now it just won`t start.

The plugs are wet now which are brand new along with the wires cleaned the egr ,throttle body.

including the TPS?

yes i cleaned the TPS to but still won`t start, i can`t understand

regardless of prior concerns here, we've got to go back to the basics, air, fuel, spark, timing----got these elements? we should start testing to see which component is deficient~

like my evil uncle would have me hold the high-voltage wire while he pulled the starter handle, we should check to see if it's sparkin'~

It is a challenging job to get to that oil pump which is under the motor inside the oil pan...the pan bolts must be removed, the oil drained and a new gasket will need to be fitted---now why are we doin' this? low oil pressure?
