Ecm

Asked by Firelegend Aug 12, 2019 at 12:07 PM about the 2002 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My sons explorer was missing really badly and had
no power when driving. It would start and run
decent in park. The ecn was removed and
terminals cleaned. Once it was reinstalled the
vehicle is not communicating with ecm. Any ideals

Battery has a full charge, battery cables/connections all good. Check voltage and ground circuits for pcm. Can you communicate with computer, will code reader or scanner show anything?
