How to know if a transmission is bad
Does anyone know how to tell if a
transmission is bad with out driving the
vehicle. I need to get an engine from the
wrecking yard and they can't tell me the
reason why the car is in the junkyard so I
wanna know if there is anyway I can find out
if the cars there cause the transmission went
out they won't allow me to do a compression
test before buying a new engine. Can I smell
the transmission fluid to see if it smells burnt
or something else
