2006 Ford Escape Coolant replacement
So I just got my radiator replaced and I’m trying to
fill it back up with coolant in the reservoir but the
coolant is not draining into the radiator so my hoses
and engine keep getting really hot. Advice?

Make sure the engine is cold. Remove the cap on the coolant reservoir. Then carefully remove the top hose facing the front of the vehicle, off the coolant reservoir. Have a small funnel handy and position the hose vertical and place the funnel into the end of the hose. Poor the coolant water mixture into the funnel very slowly. You will get about a half a coolant bottle worth of fluid into the radiator. Once filled the coolant reservoir will start to fill from the lower hose. Remove the funnel and position the hose back on the reservoir and replace the cap. Start the car to check for leaks. Done.

My 2014 Ford Escape SE 1.6 AWD is leaking coolant somewhere around the belt, I can’t find the leak but can smell it and see antifreeze. Any help? Could it be the water pump? It’s not over heating.
