Check the simple things, like a cracked radiator cap or hose on the overflow/de-gas bottle, radiator may be sucking air instead of pulling coolant from it. Otherwise evaluate cooling system for flow/blockage. Hopefully it's nothing as drastic as a head/intake gasket problem.
