Which fan clutch is suitable?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 96 P71. I am replacing
the clutch fan that is attached to
the motor. While ordering I notice
the difference in sizes. Mine
looks like the fat one. The thinner
one doesn't look like it would be
right. What's the difference it will
make

I would match the one that is on the vehicle. A P71 most probably uses the severe duty thematic fan clutch. Look at rock auto.com to see some choices.
