Headlight on by itself

I have 2006 mustang
haven't drove in a while
bad wheel bearing it
rained heavy for awhile
now its wet inside then
out of no were the
drivers side headlight
came on in the middle of
the night no key

The headlight circuit is always hot, or has power to it from the battery. Since it's just the one light I'd suspect water got into the plug and is completing the circuit to ground and making the light come on. Hope that helps! Jim
