06 mustang headlights won’t stay on

Asked by GuruPMT8Y Jan 28, 2020 at 12:08 PM about the 2006 Ford Mustang V6 Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The lights turn on it the car is off. Once I turn the
car on my lights turn off after about 15 seconds or
so. My high beams work fine and stay on. I’ve
replaced the switch. I’m at a loss

Does the switch have an auto setting? If it does could be a bad light sensor... if it does not and u already changed the switch... and u say it works with the car off. Could be fuse box also
