Where is 3rd and 4th gears and what do I need to fix this?

In a 5 speed, driving down the road, I have absolutely no 3rd
or 4th gears. HOWEVER, if I'm at a complete stop and take
off in 3rd gear, it goes into gear just fine! Whats wrong with
ny car?!?! Transmission? Forks? Synchronizers? Its a v8, 4.6
liter, 281

Have a transmission shop check it out. Could be the clutch or the transmission may need a rebuild. I would look for a good used transmission.
