Why electric fuel pump does not come on brand new

I have a 93 Ford are there are just put
a brand new fuel pump in it and it still
does not come on what would be the
cost

could be something else. Could be an open circuit or your fuel pump relay. == You can get a volt meter and check the ground and hot to the fuel pump. It gets power to prime it for 1-2 seconds so you would have to have your hand already back behind the seat with the reader ready and then turn on the key. == Are you doing the work yourself or having someone do it for you?
