It is either a gasoline engine, or a diesel engine. You can tell where you put the fuel into the tank. Diesel has a larger opening than a gasoline engine does in the tank for the fuel nossell.

I haven't seen the opening for the fuel nozzle. The truck is online, I've only seen pictures because I am wanting to buy it. That is good information though, I didn't know that. But can you tell what the fuel type is by the engine?

It would say Duramax Diesel on it if it were a diesel. That is a 6.6L engine.
