Low oil pressure

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 silverado with a 4.8 lastweek got up
turned it on low oil pressure no knocking or
anything like that tool off still psi went to normal
went to work went to town same thing got the
sensor replaced still didnt fix the problem truck
runs fine no knocking or anything just the low
pressure warning then it goes to normal

Sounds like you have a cheap oil filter... Recommend using a Bosch... If you take you truck to the dealer they like to use AC deco filters... Not recommend. Those filters are cheap...
