Why do high beams come when turning left?

Asked by CoolE123 Mar 29, 2020 at 01:00 PM about the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2LS Crew Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Not sure if this happening to anyone else, but, when using the
left turning shift: lever is moved to down position (on steering
column) the HIGH beams come on. And NO, we're not pushing
the lever forward or pulling it back. Also, this doesn't happen
when turning right, only left. Looking for answers.
