2005 Silverdo 4.8 v8 engine replacement

Ok so my dad and I did a engine swap on a 2005 silverado.
4.8l. Everything is turning on checked spark, compression,
and fuel! All seems good but the truck will only crank, not
start. not sure if its the timing or maybe the crankshaft
position sensor. any ideas
