1994 Ford Ranger Splash 4.0. Truck accelerates without pushing the gas pedal

Asked by Jessenorton Jan 31, 2020 at 03:07 PM about the 1994 Ford Ranger Splash Standard Cab Stepside 4WD SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck will accelerate with no cause, the only way to stop the acceleration is to
push the brake pedal. I replaced the IAC valve and no change.

No difference in weather conditions. Everyday driver.
