My 05 Monte Carlo ss cluster lights

My cluster lights are not bright. Yes I have to knob
turned lol the way up. When I start the car they are
bright for a second then go dark to the point to
here I can’t see the speedometer, gas gauge, temp
etc.....

Your dim light is going bad or the knob feels loose?
