mis-adjustment of the brake switch. easy just rotate the barrel until the light goes off, and cinch the bolt down

I'd get a NEW battery as five years old is the time to replace them because newer generation (no LEAD), but tin/antimony last only five years before they make life hard for the alternator...then take a wirebrush and undo the black 1/0 battery cable connection to the chassis/frame...clean the lug,,,,clean the territory where it bolts with a wirebrush and bolt them together~ good reliable ground will make it all work again~
