Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Kelly's blue book says 5,000 for 2006 corolla S is avg. price.  2006 CE corolla is 1,000 over my 2006 corolla s with same miles .  Car with wrong value under it makes it very hard to sell , thanks a lot .

Well, fine, put up your car for sale for what you consider to be a fair price. No one is obligated to sell anything for what others say it is worth. Be thankful that there are other sites where you can compare prices. Good luck selling your car.

The ratings are not based on "blue book" values. Between Kelly Blue Book, NADA, and Edmunds, prices they list for used vehicles tend to be higher than what they actually sell for, and one of those organizations is designed for used car dealers (NADA) giving the prices they sell for, not what average people sell for amongst themselves. So you can get really skewed prices going strictly by "blue book" guides. For comparison, see how CarGurus compares its prices: https://cargurus.helpscoutdocs.com/article/10-what-is-imv
