drop new motor and trans on old 2006 corolla

I drive a 2006 corolla ce 5sp Manual trans, I'm considering on  dropping a new
motor and transmission. Does anybody know if the current 6sp manual 2020  
corolla motor and transmission fit on the 2006?

It will not be a bolt in job. In theory with a boat load of money and a lot of custom fabrication you could do this.

If theres a will there's a way. If you can do some fab and more than likely install a custom wiring harness and a stand alone ecm it would be sick. Built not bought is always the way to go man
