plug is near fuse panel the passenger side u can get a cheap code reader that flashes the codes and comes with a book tells u what the codes mean

Go to autozone and they will check it for free and print out the code and possible problem. Oftentimes the fault is an oxygen sensor problem listed as one cause. You purchase it, it's yours. I do not believe they are returnable.
