I've had that happen to me too. The vehicle is one price but as soon as I showed interest in it the price gets raised. Best thing to do is not buy the vehicle or any vehicle from that unscrupulous dealer. Hope that helps! Jim

Why don't you grow up and do research for yourself. An adult would just keep shopping until he finds a dealer who's interested in the customer, not just the commission. That's always worked for me.

Dealership have multiple prices for a vehicle. The internet price (usually the lowest up front price advertise), the financed price, cash price, financed w/ trade-in, cash w/ trade-in, the discount price (employees/ family), and the sticker price. Most dealerships post-covid include in their internet price the expectation of a trade-in and it to be financed and the buyer to be in the same state. If a person wants to buy it out right now, in cash, expect to pay a couple grand more.
