Nobody, not even the government socialist nannies, will prevent car companies from stopping parts production. Then try to keep parts available for a decade, but that often doesn't happen..... If you're leasing that Lincoln POS, you might be OK, as residual is in place at lease. But buying it might end up costing you more than if you had gotten a more reliable and desirable car.
