2009 Jeep Wrangler turn signals stop working when headlights are on

Asked by slappy Nov 03, 2020 at 11:19 AM about the 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The turn signals work fine when the headlights are off. Once the headlights
are turned on the front turn signals, which ever one I'm using,  will work for a
few seconds then stop working and the rear turn signals go into fast blink.  If
I stop the Jeep and restart the ignition, the signals will reset but same thing
happens when I engage the headlights.  I have stock bulbs in all the lights,
no LED's.  I have had both front turn signal sockets replaced and the ground
wired checked by a trusted mechanic.  We still cant find the problem. Any
ideas?
