Check primary voltage at ignition coil? Probably goes hot when you turn the key on. Primary circuits at the coil, small terminals, positive and negative. Use a test light to check for voltage. If there is voltage, does the light pulse when you crank it? There is the coil wire--the distributor cap--dist rotor, I could go on? Did you replace the points? Does the rotor turn when you crank it?

Check the cap and rotor. Make sure the points are gapped properly too.
