steering wheel squeeks when adjusting position

when the car is turned on and the steering wheel re-positions itself to suit the driver there
is a squeaking sound made.  how do i lubricate the mechanism to stop this?

Im guessing its out of warranty. Heres a link to what another lexus owner did to fix the creaking steering colum, its on a GS model but might work for the SC since all lexus cars seem to make the noise after several years. Thanks for the lead. I fixed the problem by manually moving the column thru its entire range seneral times. This redistributed the grease and solved the problem. After reading your lead I had an idea where to go to fix it so thanks.
