alternator

i needed a  ignition switch so i changed it, jus changed , started the her up and now i have a alternator problem....my batteries keep dying.. i changed the alternator and still its running on straight battery..can somebody give me any suggestions

Try checking your fuses. The current coming off your alternator is fused before going to the fuse block/battery. it is possible that the fuse was popped when you changed the ignition switch
