The hatchback door will not open by using buttons on the liftgate.

2010 lexus rx350 The hatchback door will not open by using buttons on the
liftgate.  it works fine otherwise.  The lock button on the liftgate does work.
Need help!

I have the same problem with my 2008 RX350. There is dealer settable option: 31. Opening Rear Door* When pressing the back door opener button on the rear door, the power door function engages and the door opens completely: My dealer was unable to verify my setting as he was unable to getting "connected" to my onboard computer and I was unwilling to pay for his "fishing" expedition to find where that problem was. So I'm living with this problem as I can open it with both my key and dash button. https://www.lexus.com/pdf/service/RX_with_nav_LPS.pdf
