Question type: Maintenance & Repair

backing out cutting the wheel and then steping on brake putting it in drive it will
hold me there for a second and symbol light comes on sometimes it beeps
goes out may not happen again for weeks then out of nowhere does it again.

test spiral cable and brake light switch

first off thanks Brian. just came back from the dealer this vehicle has hill start assist, so by steping just a little extra hard on brake pedal activated it hence the warning sign.and the reason it wasnt happening all the time. iam convinced this is a fact.
