Question type: Maintenance & Repair

how can i improve the fuel economy on my 2003 lexus rx300.  I am getting 22 - 23 mph on non crowded flat
roadways.  Otherwise 16 - 17 mph.   i've seen forums where owners "modify" the horsepower or reprogram shift
points.  I have tires inflated to 32psi and use full synthentic oil and have frequent front end alignments.  I try to
drive with ecomony in mind.  Had all transmission fluid changed at 95000 miles.  Car runs like a dream
otherwise.  Any recommendations?

A tune-up, oil and gas treatment, fuel system check and flush, drive slower. I like to use Sea Foam and drive slower.
